Campus Financial Aid Applications for the 2022-2023 School Year are open now

Early Notification Deadline: February 28, 2022

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Financial Aid program criteria and awarding calculations are reviewed annually, so Kamehameha Schools can offer aid to families most in need. Financial aid is not guaranteed from year to year, so families should plan accordingly, and apply early. To learn more about how aid is calculated, the Financial Aid program has set up a series of workshops which begin on Monday (10/25). See more information below.
  • An application for the 2022-2023 school year is required if you need financial assistance, even if you received financial aid this current 2021-2022 school year.
  • Completed applications submitted by the February 28, 2022 deadline should be notified of any award eligibility by the first billing in August 2022.

  • Use your 2020 federal taxes to get started

Want to learn more about how financial aid is calculated? Attend a workshop.

All ʻohana are invited to attend an "Introduction to Financial Aid" workshop, where Kamehameha Schools Financial Aid staff will share more about how financial aid works.

Kamehameha Schools consider many factors in determining how much we believe your family can contribute toward educational expenses. We look at your income and expenses, assets and debts, taxes paid, household size, and number of children enrolled in any program that charges tuition. Despite what you may have heard, there is no specific income cutoff for financial aid and we encourage all families to apply.

Workshops are currently scheduled on:

  • Monday, October 25, 2021 at 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 9 a.m.
  • Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 8 a.m.
  • Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11 a.m.

To sign up, visit the Campus Financial Aid page on ksbe.edu, and scroll to the How Financial Aid is Calculated section for a sign-up form.
