"Being Kind to Your Mind", a fentanyl poisoning and drug awareness talk by Dr. Kimo Alameda took place on Thursday, October 27 virtually.
Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi Kula Waena hosted the presentation to familiarize ʻohana with the dangers and new forms of fentanyl, especially with a rising profile on our island since late September/early October.
If you missed the talk, you can watch it here, or on our Kula Waena YouTube channel and have a discussion with your child on what you have learned as well. Haumāna received a student version of the presentation earlier that day.
Contact our Kula Waena office or your keiki's counselor if there are any questions.
