Family Immigration Project

Feb. 29, 2016

Contributed by Tiare Sanchez

Along with their families, students interviewed relatives, researched files, and compiled information about their familyʻs immigration to Hawaii.   One of the most frequently heard comments was, “I never knew that!”

Using 21st Century skills, the students took their projects one step further and transformed their information via Book Creator.  They selected key points in their original presentation to create their book.  The students enjoyed being writers, directors, and videographers.
