Entrepreneurship Club gets ready for their conference presentation

Jun. 20, 2022

Ahead of their poster session at the annual International Society for Technology in Education conference in New Oreleans this year, our Kula Waena Hoʻonele ʻea Entrepreneurship Club put together a trailer that showcases their journey and what they have learned thusfar. The trailer includes the why behind the product they have chosen, what inspired them to pursue this path, and what they hope to accomplish.

Their ISTE poster session takes place on Monday, June 27 between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. where conference attendees can learn more about what they did this past school year and how they did it.

This experience has allowed them to put their passion for mālama ʻāina into a tangible product, and allowed haumāna to both build and use their skills to market that product. All of which can be extremely beneficial in the future. Recently, they had an opportunity for consumer interaction, showcasing their product at the Hilo Town Market this past Friday and interacting directly with customers.

Discover more of their story and take a look at their products on the Hoʻonele ʻea website. And watch the video below to learn more about their journey.

Before traveling to the conference, haumāna were able to showcase their product at the Hilo Town Market, giving them a chance for customer interaction.
