Cheizyn Montizor chosen as a Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship winner

Hoʻomaikaʻi to 8th grade student Cheizyn Montizor on her official selection as a Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship recipient.

This past June, Cheizyn was chosen as a Semifinalist in the prestigious Jack Kent Cook Foundation 5 yr. pre-collegiate scholarship program.

On Thursday, Cheizyn was officially selected and announced as one of 50 recipients, out of the 2,000 high achieving semifinalists from across the country.

The Montizor ʻohana graciously shared how they are “grateful and blessed for the continued guidance and support our ʻohana receives from Kamehameha Schools Hawai'i.”

We also have a tremendous amount of gratitude and share what a blessing it is to have Cheizyn and her ʻohana as a part ouf our kula ʻohana and celebrate the well-deserved recognition of this talented and hard working haumāna!
