Haumāna from Kamehameha Schools Maui Kula Waena celebrated Earth Day 2020 by creating a website (Maukoli) dedicated to educating people of how we affect our ‘Āina and steps we can take to help our Earth Thrive.
Students were asked to present projects which answered 3 questions. How do we holo IMUA through adversity? How do humans IMPACT our world? How can we INFLUENCE others to make an impact on global crises? Our haumāna put in a Warrior level of effort and it paid off with a beautiful website which they should be proud of.
