KS Kapālama will begin Spring Break early in response to COVID-19 developments

Kamehameha Schools Kapālama will begin spring break earlier than scheduled in response to the developing COVID-19 situation. Spring break will now commence on Tuesday, March 17. Haumāna are scheduled to return to school on April 6 unless otherwise instructed.

Increasing temperatures and changes in precipitation are already occurring locally and globally, and plans to meet food self-sufficiency goals must consider how climate change will affect agricultural viability. As of June 30, 2018, KS’ endowment is valued at $11.9 billion and is comprised of a globally diversified financial assets portfolio ($8.2 billion) and commercial real estate portfolio ($3.7 billion).
