During the book fair, 5th graders helped the kindergarteners work on their Book Fair Wish List (which was very long). Later in the week kindergarteners used their iPads to interview the 5th graders and produce a video presentation.
During this project both K and 5 worked on developing the roots of the E Ola Learner Outcomes. The project focused on Alaka`i Lawelawe (Servant Leadership) and `Ike Kupuna (Ancestral experiences, insights, perspectives, knowledge and practices) working on Malama & Kuleana (Social agency, community consciousness) while building pilina or relationships through Kulia (excellence) in their presentation that students created together on the iPad.
