This year’s Moichi Okada Association show was titled “Beauty Through the Eyes of Our Children” 5 KSM students had their work accepted! The awards ceremony was held at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center Stage on April 22nd.
Pictured are our very own elementary students Makana, Bazel, Lili, Emma and Lily. Their artwork along with others was displayed at Ka’ahumanu for the day and then sent to the Linekona Art School in Honolulu for display. Bazel won the award of “Best in Show” for his drawing of the Aninahina in Haleakelā. Congratulations to our talented haumana and mahalo to Kumu Fell for your creative direction and inspiration!
