The Department of Water Supply’s 7th Annual Water conservation Poster contest drew 827 entries from 54 teachers in 27 schools, countywide, and from the Boys and Girls Clubs Maui.  The goal of the contest was to educate youth and families in the community on the importance of water conservation and to encourage them to take an active role in ensuring the sustainability of our water supply.  The contest entries were judged based on water conservation message, originality, visual effectiveness, neatness and creativity.  The contest theme this year was “By Water All Things Find Life”.
