In an effort to provide a forum connecting Kamehameha Schools alumni, leaders and community partners, the popular Warrior Networking series made its first stop in Ko‘olaupoko this week.

KS Ko‘olau Regional Director Jamee Miller and her team shared information and key statistics related to Native Hawaiians and education in the region, which spans from Makapu‘u to Lāi‘e, and also highlighted  the crucial work being done by community partners. The KS alumni relations hui organized the event, and will host similar Warrior Networking opportunities in the near future.

The event was held in late January at Hale Kealoha – a Native Hawaiian-owned restaurant in Kailua – and also provided an opportunity for alumni to ask KS representatives about current initiatives and future plans for the region, while also broadening their personal and professional networks.
