Mahalo nui to Uncle Nio for teaching our 8th graders the importance to målama our aina. All 8th graders tested their physical strength this past week, working hard at the Kapiko site. Many hands made quick work in planting koa, digging trenches and moving rocks. At the end of their year-long PE conditioning course, students will compare the difference in their stamina and physical abilities. When the haumāna return later in the year, they should be able to plant even more koa, dig deeper trenches and move heavier rocks.
