Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi is pleased to present its school calendar for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.
We encourage ʻohana to use the school calendar when planning vacations and trips for your keiki. Please consult Student and Parent Handbooks to determine excused and unexcused absences since student attendance at school is very important to your keiki and their kumu.
Some highlights include -
- The first day of school is Tuesday, August 1.
- Fall Break will run from October 9-13, with a teacher workday on Monday, October 16. Students return on Tuesday, October 17.
- Students will return from Winter Break on Monday, January 8. (Winter Break will run December 20 - January 5)
- Where the Kūhio Day and Good Friday holidays occur next year enabled us to create a full two-week Spring Break from March 18-29, 2024.
- The final day of school next year is May 22, 2024 with the Class of 2024 Commencement ceremony scheduled for May 25.
Keep a lookout for more information on re-enrollment through the Infinite Campus portal in April.
Please understand that unanticipated events may require changes to the school calendar. Find additional dates and events on the individual division school calendars posted to our campus website at hawaii.ksbe.edu. If updated, the latest K-12 school calendar will also be posted in the Resources for Parents and ʻOhana section of our Hawaiʻi Campus home page.
