Ho‘oulu Kaiaulu: Community Service Hours Requirement

Community service is a vital part of our legacy, inspired by our founder, Bernice Pauahi Bishop. It benefits our Native Hawaiian community and Hawaii, offering volunteers valuable professional experience and promoting personal growth. This service brings people together, strengthens community bonds, and boosts self-esteem. Moreover, each act of volunteering is a learning opportunity that deepens our connections and our bonds of aloha and kuleana that Pauahi embodied. All of our scholarship recipients must engage in these transformative community service experiences to fulfill their scholarship terms and conditions.

For AY 2024-25 Awardees:

If you have completed your community service hours, please report them using the Community Service Report form here. If you haven’t completed your hours yet, please do so promptly and use the form to report them.
