About me

Lory Leilani H. (Kim) Aiwohi has been teaching for 20 years, 15 at Kamehameha Schools Maui where she teaches High School Math. She graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, has a Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University and a Masters Degree from Walden University. She also has completed the certification from the online instructors training institute and most recently became an National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT).Lory has been a part-time distance learning instructor with A'o Makua since 2008. She grew up on the moku (island) of O'ahu in Mililani. Lory is married to Alma Aiwohi, a Maui boy, and together they have 4 children, Daisy, Mahonri, Gideon and Teancum. They live on Maui on the beautiful shores of Waiehu. As a family they enjoy traveling, surfing, camping, soccer, singing, and just being together.
