About me

Aloha! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working with children and families in the area of child welfare and trauma for over 20 years. I have worked in many settings and in many capacities, including in various shelters (children’s, teen’s and domestic violence), as a Waianae child welfare worker, as an advocate at DH, as a therapist in private practice and for a nonprofit, on a voluntary play therapy board, and in executive leadership at a nonprofit. As a child of immigrants, I feel very privileged having grown up in Hawaii, and have a strong desire to give back to the people and communities that have given me so much. In my free time, I like to take advantage of my beautiful surroundings (beach, hiking), sew and make jewelry, and spend time with my family. I am so honored to be a part of Kamehameha Schools!
