Aloha e na ʻohana o ke Kula Waena,

We mahalo each of you for doing your part to curb the spread of the coronavirus on our island. Thanks to everyoneʻs dedication in adhering to safety protocols, we are excited to welcome all of our haumāna back to campus every weekday, beginning March 29! (This will not apply to students who selected distance learning for the second half of the year.)

As our Poʻo Kula has already shared, students will be on full distance learning for the week following Spring Break (March 22-25). They will continue with the same class schedule that they are following now, but completely from home, utilizing Canvas and Zoom.

All of our students in Hybrid learning have already experienced what face-to-face instruction is like with each of their kumu. When we resume daily attendance on Monday, March 29, all classes will be face-to-face.

• Students will continue to be cohorted in one classroom each day, with their kumu rotating into the rooms for instructional blocks (with the exception of their Elective block, every other day).
• Students will continue to wear their masks daily, practice social distancing, and adhere to santization protocols.
• Bus services and parent drop-off and pick-up procedures will remain the same.

Please be on the lookout for additional individualized communication, letting our students know where their homeroom will be. For many, this will be the same spot that theyʻve reported to during alternating hybrid learning. However, some will notice a change in room number and should anticipate this prior to March 29.
