Last night, our Kula Waena band presented two Christmas concerts featuring performers from 7th and 8th grades. 

It was an exciting opportunity to return or perform for the first time, on the Lunalilo Hale stage, an experience our performers and all of us who enjoy watching them, were truly missing. 

Thanks to the work of our kumu and administrators for securing the appropriate approvals and setting up a COVID-19 mitigation plan, our haumāna were able to perform before a live audience for the first time in a very long time. As well as having the concerts streamed for ʻohana and friends at home. Mahalo to everyone who diligently followed the protocols in place so we could all enjoy a safe and wonderful concert.
