The 11th Annual Wai‘anae Coast Keiki Spring Fest is slated for this Friday, April 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wai‘anae District Park. The Kamehameha Schools-sponsored event connects Waiʻanae Coast keiki and their parents with educational, developmental, and health service providers in their community.

The free fest features activities for parents and their keiki up to five years old. Parents can get information on financial aid, have their keiki participate in hearing and vision screenings, and get a keiki I.D. Attendees can also enjoy door prizes and more, including a book mobile and demonstrations by the Honolulu Fire Department.

“Kamehameha Schools works closely with the Waiʻanae community to identify strategies and solutions to improve education outcomes for Native Hawaiian learners,” said Kalei Kailihiwa, KS Waiʻanae coast region director. “We enjoy being able to kōkua each year and spend a heart-felt day with our community members.
