The keiki of Papa ʻekahi got their hands dirty starting our new garden for the year. The keiki planted new plants in the garden while learning about the steps which needs to take place in order to make the garden successful in providing us with fruits and vegetables. Sun, water, and space!

The keiki planted one garden bed with canoe plants which includes Kalo, ʻOlena, and ʻUala. The keiki will work in the garden thoughout the year with support from their Kumu while learning about different types of plants and how improtant it is to learn how to garden and sustainability.
