Yesterday, Hawaii News Now aired a youth panel discussion on the importance of voting and student-led advocacy efforts taking place.
KSH senior and ASKS president Kamahaʻo Halemanu was one of twelve student leaders from Kamehameha Schools, Ke Kula O Ehukaimalino, Ka ʻUmeke Kāʻeo, Mid-Pacific Institute, and Windward Community College to participate in this important discussion.

This effort is a part of a larger youth engagement movement of Our Kaiāulu Votes! designed to give students a platform to encourage voters to participate in this year's election. Activities have included panel discussions online at at the recent CNHA convention, and Walk to the Box sign waving events on all islands.
