New edition of I Mua magazine celebrates all things ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi

The latest edition of I Mua magazine is a celebration of our ʻōlelo makuahine, featuring several stories presented ma ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi!

One moʻolelo is a photo essay highlighting the ever-growing presence of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi in public spaces.

Another feature highlights an innovative teaching method at Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha Hawaiʻi, where at least 90% of class time is conducted in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. The moʻolelo of nā kumu and alumni who made it happen is as fascinating as the learning model itself.

The cover story highlights a groundbreaking book written by an alumnus that examines how ea is gained and lost through the process of translation.
