Kindergarten has been learning about motion. The students have been exploring how things move. They tested what rolls, how height affects speed and the force behind different objects. Next, they will learn about friction!

First grade is learning about the moon. What is the moon made out of? What could we find on the moon and what are the phases of the moon? The students painted the moon, felt the moon by making moon dough and made the phases of the moon with Oreos. Soon they will study the stars!

Second grade just started their last science unit on volcanoes. They are learning why some volcanoes explode? The students did two experiments with “lava.” They took a closer look at the lava found within a shield volcano and how it would be different than lava found within a cone volcano and why...
