Kamehameha Schools has selected Calvin Mann KSK’86 as director of planning and development for the organization’s Commercial Real Estate Division (CRED) portfolios.
Mann will oversee the planning and development of commercial and residential projects on KS land in Hawai‘i Kai and Waiawa. Stewardship of these lands supports the organization’s mission of uplifting the lāhui and communities across the state.
“We are excited to welcome back Calvin to the Kamehameha Schools ʻohana,” KS Managing Director of Commercial Real Estate Walter Thoemmes KSK’84 said. “Calvin brings years of experience and a wealth of knowledge that enhances KS’ ability to develop communities for a brighter tomorrow.”
With over 25 years of expertise in the real estate field, Mann has extensive project management experience in real estate development – including large military, federal, state and county projects. His experience extends to both residential and commercial projects in Ward Village, Mililani Mauka, Royal Kunia, Wehilani in Waikōloa, and Maunaloa Town on Molokaʻi.
Most recently, he was the senior director of development at The Howard Hughes Corporation. Mann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from San Diego State University and master’s degree in business administration from Hawaiʻi Pacific University.
