Keli‘i Anderson has been promoted to the position of controller. He will now oversee the Controller Division and will play a key role as a member of KS’ Finance team.

Anderson joined KS in 2010 as financial reporting manager, overseeing internal and external reporting and working on special projects including SP2020. Prior to joining KS he was an audit manager with Deloitte & Touche LLP.

As controller, he is responsible for strong organization-wide financial policies, internal controls and accounting operations.

The Controller Division recently implemented a major PeopleSoft financial system upgrade, giving Anderson a firm foundation to build upon.

“Our immediate priorities are centralizing and automating our travel and business expense process, enhancing our reporting to align with our new organizational structure/SP2020, and assisting our users through all the current fiscal year changes,” he said.

Raised in Kailua and currently residing in Kaka‘ako, Anderson is a 1998 graduate of KS Kapālama. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in finance from University of the Pacific.

Anderson is also a certified public accounting in Hawai‘i, and is a member of the Hawai‘i Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

When he’s not crunching numbers, Keli‘i enjoys paddling, fishing and traveling with his wife.
