Keauhou featured on Ka Piko Podcast

Award-winning Native Hawaiian musical group Keauhou is featured on this week’s episode of Ka Piko Podcast.

The three musicians and kumu discuss their upcoming opportunity to headline the annual May Day concert, while the talented performers also share their approach to teaching the next generation of leaders. Keauhou, "the new/renewed generation," defines the young trio of Kahanuola Solatorio, and brothers Nicholas and Zachary Lum as they strive to bring forth inspiration from Hawaiian music of the eras preceding them, and contribute to a renewed respect and interest for the incomparable beauty of traditional Hawaiian music.

The podcast, which is hosted by KS Communications Specialist Kyle Galdeira, is available to stream and download through multiple podcast and music platforms including Spotify, Stitcher and Google Play Music. It will soon be available on as well as additional music and podcast streaming sites.

In addition to education, the podcast will also focus on developing leaders through multiple platforms including music, sports and entertainment. According to Edison Research, 67 million Americans listen to podcasts every month.
