Our first ever Kauhale Band Festival took place on Thursday, February 20, 2025 in Koaiʻa Gymnasium. The full concert is now available to watch on the KS YouTube Channel. 

This special performance featured two combined MS/HS bands, consisting of over 90 talented students in each ensemble from 7th to 12th grade. The highlight of the evening will be the debut performance of the KS Hawaii Kauhale Band, composed of alumni from all three KS campuses, ʻohana, and community members. The night culminated in a grand mass performance with all three bands, with a beautiful vocal of "For the Lāhui" sung by KSH ʻ21 alumna Aleah Kay!

Kumu Makana Larger, the HS Band Director from KS Kapālama, also served as a guest conductor for the evening, along with the return of former high school band director Wayne Kawakami, directing our Kauhale band for a performance.
