Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha is closely tracking Hurricane Fausto, with the safety and well-being of our haumāna, ʻohana, and employees as our highest priority. According to the National Weather Service, Fausto has strengthened but is forecast to weaken as it moves west across the Pacific.

While it remains too early to determine whether the pae ʻāina will experience any direct impacts, there is currently no immediate threat to the islands or anticipated disruptions to Kamehameha operations. Our K-12 campuses and preschools will continue normal summer operations.

We will continue to monitor forecasts from the National Hurricane Center and the National Weather Service and will provide timely updates should conditions change or any actions become necessary.

As a reminder, hurricane season continues through November 30. We encourage all families to use this time to review their emergency plans, ensure emergency kits are fully stocked, and stay informed through trusted weather sources.
