The month of February has KSM kula waena celebrating the birthday of an important member of the Kamehameha family, Ruth Ke‘elikōlani Keanolani Kanāhoahoa. Haumāna and staff gathered to celebrate and honor Keʻelikōlani with hula, oli, and leiʻs. As a staunch defender and practitioner of our Hawaiian culture throughout her life, it is fitting that our haumāna celebrated her birth with a hula.
