ʻO Lonomakaihe is an original mele composed by Papa Kamaʻilio Advanced Colloquial Hawaiian Language students Keola Shores-Ulep, Nanea Villanueva, Hiʻilei Hauanio & Makana Konanui Tucker celebrating and honoring our senior class, Lonomakaihe, as we move into the season of Lono.

Mahalo e ka papa Kamaʻilio i ka hula, oli, hoʻokani pila, pāleoleo a me ke kahakiʻi ʻana mai.

I mua e nā pōkiʻi ā inu i ka wai ʻawaʻawa
A holomua me ka lōkahi, ke kumu, a me ka mana
ʻO mākou ka huliau, ʻo mākou nō ke kupu

Like the spears, charge forth with strength
Holomua in unity with intent and strength
We are the change, we are the growth
