Our kula hosted the first Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) Cheer Competion of the 2023 Season on Monday, October 9, 2023 in Koaiʻa Gym. Eight Hawaiʻi Island teams performed in this preseason competition including:

• Keaʻau High School,
• Waiākea High School,
• Hilo High School,
• Pahoa High School,
• Konawaena High School,
• Honokaʻa High School, and
• Kealakehe High School,

As well as our own Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi cheer team. Hilo High was named the top co-ed routine, and Waiākea won best all-girls routine of the night. Our Warriors took a close 2nd behind Waiākea. 

There is one more preseason competition next week 10/17 at Kealakehe, before the BIIF Championships on 10/25 at Keaʻau High School.
