Kamehameha Schools Maui will host its annual ʻAha Mele on Friday, April 27, starting at 7:30 p.m. This yearʻs theme is “Nani Ke Akamai o Ka Wahine” and celebrates the artistry of women.
Since 2003, KS Maui has hosted ʻAha Mele, which celebrates the love that Pauahi had for choral music. Classes prepare for months to come together in one voice in the hopes of tying their class ribbon on Ka Maka o Ka Ihe, the award recognizing the best performance of the evening.
To those who cannot make it to the performance in person, Ka Leo O Nā Koa, the KS Maui student newspaper, will live stream the event. Visit kaleoonakoa.org for the link to the stream.
