Students in grades 6-12 interested in learning the basics of cybersecurity can sign-up for a free CyberCamp from July 18-22 on-campus. Submit your application by July 6 to attend. 

What is the AFA CyberCamp?

The AFA CyberCamp program is designed to excite students new to cybersecurity about STEM career opportunities and teach them important cyber defense skills through hands-on instruction and activities.

Through the camp, students will learn how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats, as well as how to harden entire networks running Windows 10 and Ubuntu operating systems.

The AFA CyberCamp will culminate in an exciting final team competition that simulates real cybersecurity situations faced by industry professionals and mimics AFA’s CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Defense Competition.

When + Where will it be?

Middle School - Beginners Session:
July 18-22, 2022, 8 a.m. - Noon

High School - Beginners Session:
July 18-22, 2022, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

All sessions will take place on-campus at Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi.

How much does it cost?

CyberCamp is FREE. But spaces are limited and will be filled first-come, first-serve, so don't delay and sign-up by July 6th. 

All students receive camp instruction materials and CyberCamp t-shirt.
