After being rescheduled from February, our Junior class, Peleleuhulihonua - the Class of 2027, will celebrate Junior Week from March 30 to April 2.
There are four dress days that students can enjoy and participate in throughout the week -
- Monday, March 30 - Decade Day - Dress as a decade (80's, 90's, or 2000's)
- Tuesday, March 31 - Favorite Music Genre/Artist - Rock a costume or special wear to represent your favorite musical artist or genre of music
- Wednesday, April 1 - Soccer Mom & Grill Dad - embrace adulthood and dress like a soccer mom or grill dad
- Thursday, April 2 - Aloha Wear - start your Merrie Monarch week early and wear your aloha best.
Students should be sure that when dressing up they comply with all of the special dress guidelines including:
- Clothing must not be tight, sheer, or revealing
- Any Dresses or tops should have a modest neckline
- No crop tops or exposed midriffs
- No offensive, inappropriate, or suggestive language or images on clothing
- No costumes or accessories that resemble weapons, drugs, alcohol, or illegal activity
- Dresses, Skirts, Shorts, and other bottoms must come below the fingertips
- No Leggings
- School-approved shoes
- No crocs, slides, slippers, etc.
- No spaghetti straps
- Hats, hoods, crowns, and headwear must follow school headwear policies (removed indoors)
- All school handbook dress code guidelines apply
On Thursday, April 2nd, Juniors can enjoy a special lunchtime activity under the hale peʻa. All other students should avoid the area at that time.
