Aloha e nā hoa hana o Ke Kula ‘o Kamehameha!

Kamehameha Schools is not the same organization we were just a few years ago. We used to talk about language and culture like they were extra things to sprinkle into our routine.

Since 2015, the unprecedented focus on normalizing Hawaiian language and embedding cultural principles throughout KS has created the new normal for our organization. Hawaiian living and learning grows stronger each day from classroom to boardroom and beyond. Our world view has changed. We have changed.

We invite you to read Mo‘olelo Lanakila 2020, which tells the story of this transformation. It is a five-year snapshot of data, change initiatives, and anecdotal reflections that paint a culturally vibrant picture of a new, high-performing and forward-facing Kamehameha.
