In a few short weeks, we will celebrate the unsung heroes throughout our Kamehameha Schools’ and broader communities that have transformed their living rooms and kitchens into virtual classrooms so our haumāna can continue to learn online despite this COVID-19 crisis.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8, but we didn’t want to waste any time to mahalo our kumu for their commitment to bring quality instruction to our keiki and ʻōpio throughout the school year.

We humbly ask for your stories to aloha and mahalo the kumu in your lives, and look forward to sharing your submissions with our communities. Using social media, post your photos of signs in your yard, songs, video of classes on Zoom or a simple note of mahalo. Be sure to hashtag #mahaloenakumu or #kumuweloveyou, or if you would like to share them with us via email, please send to ksinfo@ksbe.edu.
