KS haumāna enjoyed a career day where presenters explained and demonstrated aspects of their trades. Some even had hands-on activities for the students to participate in. Presenter occupations included: Health Care Worker, Physician, Pilot, Makeup Artist, Police Officer, Media Production, Pharmacist, Coast Guard, and more. The presentations expand student perspectives as to what career choices are available. They also give students the rare opportunity to ask questions to professionals who are currently working in the field. Mahalo nui to all of the presenters who took time out of their day to share their ʻike kūhohonu (deep knowledge/insight)!
