Jamile is named HR senior director

Cliff Jamile has joined Kamehameha Schools as senior director of human resources.  His kuleana will include overseeing employee and labor relations, client services, recruitment and staffing, and HR compliance.

Jamile brings with him vast experience in human recourses management. Prior to joining KS, he served as director of employee and labor relations at Hawaii Pacific Health where he was responsible for planning, developing and executing labor relations strategy for the organization.

He previously served in a similar interim role at Kaiser Permanente where he was responsible for all labor-management relations issues in the Hawaiʻi region. Jamile also has extensive business experience, having worked as CEO and COO for Kilakila Employer Services, Inc. and ProService Hawaii Business Development Corp.

Jamile’s exceptional leadership style, broad and knowledgeable HR base and excellent communication skills has earned him the respect and trust of his colleagues and constituents. “I am confident that Cliff will bring that same consistent leadership style to Kamehameha Schools.” said Winona White, vice president of human resources.

Born in California, and raised in Hawaiʻi, Jamile graduated from Punahou School. He went on obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational management from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in human resource management from Hawaii Pacific University.

Jamile is married with three children and resides in Hawaiʻi Kai. He spends most of his free time with his kids and their activities which include volleyball, soccer, swimming, and hula. He also enjoys bodysurfing and CrossFit workouts.
