Have you noticed new recycling bins around campus?
Thanks to senior Saesha Hanselman and her senior legacy project, students and kumu can now recycle their white paper rather than throwing it away.
In addition to the paper recycling, more HI-5 wired recycling bins have been added around campus along with a large recycling container at Paiʻea Stadium to continue to recycle your cans and bottles.
"The goal is to reduce waste and repurpose materials that we throw away daily, which take up space in the landfill," says Hanselman.
"The ʻāina and the future generations appreciate your efforts."
As part of her senior legacy project, Saesha Hanselman donated these new recycling bins that have been placed around campus.
Hanselman presents her recycling legacy project at the Senior Expo to parents and community members.
