May 21, 2021

Kamehameha Schools’ new Kalanihookaha Community Learning Center in Nānākuli welcomed its first haumāna recently. The ‘ōpio are crafting ‘ukulele as part of an alternative learning program for at-risk youth. Named for the late Dr. Agnes “Auntie Aggie” Kalanihookaha Cope – a champion for Native Hawaiian health, education, culture and the arts – the center serves as a gathering place for community learners and KS program partners.
