KS Kapālama celebrates homecoming

The KS Kapālama campus recently celebrated its annual Homecoming Game Day with pep rallies, pre-game activities, and the football game against ILH rival ʻIolani School. The Homecoming Court danced to the Kamehameha Waltz as is tradition, and the football team did not disappoint as the Warriors defeated the Raiders 63 to 21.

KSK Elementary campus keiki got into the spirit of homecoming with a morning pep rally. Teacher Lilinoe Kaahanui and students are ready to cheer!

Alumni flocked to the campus for the homecoming football game versus ʻIolani. Class of 1980 alumni included, Robin Nonaka, Colleen Mosher, Nancy Simeona-Keala and Pudgy LaCount.




High school students Alexis Kyle, Hunter Breault and Elisha Fronda painted their faces to show their school spirit.




The Warrior Band warmed up as the sun set over west Oʻahu.

The Warriors defeated the Iolani Raiders 63 to 21 before a homecoming game crowd that packed Kunuiakea Stadium.




Quarterback Justice Young passed for a school-record 374 yards and four touchdowns in his first start.
