Holiday wishes from campus leaders

Kamehameha Schools campus leaders came together recently to share their Christmas sentiments with the KS ‘ohana. Each group came up with their own message to spread holiday cheer. One group including Dr. Rod Chamberlain, Earl Kim, Lee Ann Delima, Holoua Stender and Phyllis Unebasami went a step further and acted out their greeting! KS Kapālama Po‘o Kula (head of school) Earl Kim, Vice President of Campus Education Dr. Rod Chamberlain, KS Maui Po‘o Kula Lee Ann Delima, Director for the Office of Educator Growth and Development Phyllis Unebasami and KS Hawai‘i Po‘o Kula Holoua Stender say: Ka maluhia, ke aloha, a me manaʻo ʻoiaʻiʻo o ke kau Kalikimaka – “Wishing you peace, love, and faith this Christmas season.”




KS Hawai‘i Hope Po‘o Kumu (elementary school principal) Kāhealani Nae‘ole-Wong, KS Kapālama Hope Po‘o Kuma Debbie Lindsay, and KS Maui Curriculum Director Kelly Dukelow say, Me ʻoukou nā pōmaikaʻi o ke kau Kalikimaka – “May you enjoy the blessings of the Christmas season.”




KS Kapālama Elementary School Po‘o Kumu (principal) Ronnie Kopp, KS Maui Po‘o Kumu Kaleo Pahukula and KS Hawai‘i Po‘o Kumu Esther Kanehailua share the spirit of kahiau – To give generously with the heart with no expectation of return.




KS Maui Middle School Po‘o Kumu Lois Nishikawa, KS Hawaii Po‘o Kumu Scott De Sa and KS Kapālama Po‘o Kumu Pua Ka‘ai say: Aloha Kalikimaka! – “Merry Christmas!”




KS Kapālama High School Po‘o Kumu Julian Ako, KS Maui High School Academies Po‘o Kumu Jay-R Ka‘awa, and KS Maui High School 9th and 10th Grade Po‘o Kumu Lance Cagasan share some yuletide aloha.
