Alumni veterans share ‘ike and mea ‘aans share ‘ike and mea ‘ai with KS Kapālama haumāna

More than 30 alumni veterans were honored by leadership and haumāna at the annual Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Veterans Day luncheon. Held at Midkiff Learning Center on Tuesday, November 12, the gathering provided alumni  with the opportunity to share their experiences as veterans.  

The Veterans Day lunch was a collaboration between the Alumni Relations Office and KS Kapālama’s Associated Students of Kamehameha Schools.




KS CEO Jack Wong welcomed the hui of alumni veterans, which represented a range of graduating classes from1951 to 2004.




KS Director of Alumni Relations and Interim Executive Director of Pauahi Foundation Pono Ma‘a (KSK’82)and Army veteran Alexander Mcangus (KSK’51).
