Kamehameha Schools has joined forces with Hawaiʻi Pacific Health (HPH) to improve the education, health, economic stability and social well-being of students and families across Hawaiʻi. The partnership is KS’ first with a non-profit health care system.

In fiscal year 2018, Kamehameha Schools spent $483 million on educational efforts, which equates to a 4.5 percent spend rate for the year. As of June 30, 2018, KS’ endowment is valued at $11.9 billion and is comprised of a globally diversified financial assets portfolio ($8.2 billion) and commercial real estate portfolio ($3.7 billion).

Kamehameha Schools (KS) and the State Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) have fully executed the ground lease for the future site of the Agnes Kalaniho‘okahā Cope Community Learning Center (KCLC) in Nānākuli. KS book donation helps inmates in Arizona reconnect with Native Hawaiian culture

Kamehameha Schools recently provided a collection of books with Hawaiian culture and language themes for Native Hawaiian inmates and others from Hawai‘i currently incarcerated at Saguaro Prison in Arizona. The prison is currently home to more than 1,900 inmates from Hawai‘i.
