A legacy 31 years in the making: KSK Children’s Chorus wins first Hōkū Award

For more than 30 years, KS Kapālama Elementary School kumu Lynell Bright has nurtured the voices of countless haumāna as director of the KS Children’s Chorus. This year, the chorus won its first Nā Hōkū Hanohano award for the Christmas album, “Ho‘onani Kākou Iā Ia.” See story »
