Apply for Kamehameha Scholars

How to apply

Kamehameha Scholars is a nationally-acclaimed college and career counseling program that serves high school haumāna (students) from public, charter, home, and other private schools. Students who complete the program will earn a valuable merit scholarship to be used towards enrollment into an accredited post-secondary educational institution or training program as recognized by Kamehameha Schools.

Complete the online application between March 15 and April 30, 2021.

Ancestry verification

Kamehameha Schools’ admissions policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law. If you would like your child to be considered under that policy, your child’s Hawaiian ancestry must be verified by Kamehameha’s Ho‘oulu Verification Services.
