Waiʻanae Coast Keiki Spring Fest builds community resilience

May 18, 2023

The annual Waiʻanae Coast Keiki Spring Fest helps support and build community resilience. The vibrant and fun-filled community event on April 29, 2023, was held for the first time at the Community Learning Center at Māʻili. The festival supports keiki ages 0 to 5, and their ʻohana learn about services and programs in the community. The event featured many exciting activities, including games, crafts, music, and food. Keiki could get their teeth checked by Hawaiʻi Dental Service, and parents could also create keiki IDs. We’re grateful for the many fantastic community partners that come out each year to support families in the community. Some of them include Parents and Children Together, INPEACE, Ke Ola Mamo, Hawaiʻi Community Action Program, Inc., Nānākuli-Waiʻanae Complex Area, and Leadership in Disabilities & Achievement of Hawaiʻi, to name a few.
