About me

Aloha!

I was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to California in 1975.

I graduated from California State University of Long Beach and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Psychology.

I then pursued and received my Teaching Credential for Grades K-6 .  I began teaching in California with Long Beach Unified School District.

I taught grades 1, 2, 2/3 GATE and 3.

In 1995, I moved to Maui.

I taught 4th Grade at Kamali’i and Kindergarten and 1st grade at Wailuku Elementary.  At Pukalani Elementary, I taught Grades 5, Kindergarten and 2.

This will by my 24th year teaching and 4th year at Kamehameha Schools Maui.  My husband teaches High School PE at KSM.  We have a 23 year old daughter who graduated from Portland State, OR and a 11 year old son who attends KSM in 6th grade.  My family attends Hope Chapel in Kihei.

I enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach, going to the movies and dining out!
