About me

I graduated from St.  Anthony Jr.  – Sr.  High School in Wailuku.  My mom was an elementary school teacher, and my grandmother was an elementary school principal.

I knew I wanted to be a teacher from a very young age! I received my BEd

in Elementary Education from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, and a Master of Education from Chaminade University.

I began my teaching career at Kihei Elementary School teaching kindergarten for three years.

I moved to Oahu for a year where I taught kindergarten at Pohakea Elementary in Ewa Beach.

I returned to Kihei Elementary for another seven years teaching kindergarten, grade 2 and serving as the librarian.  This is my 14th year here at Kamehameha Schools Maui where I taught kindergarten for eight years.

I am in my sixth year of teaching terrific third graders!
