About me

Aloha,My name is Julee Kaiaokamalie and I am currently the iLearning Lab teacher for all elementary students in grades kindergarten through grade 5.

I have had the privilege to teach at Kamehameha Schools Maui for the past 13 years.

I have also taught at various schools on Maui for a total of over 29 years teaching experience in the classroom.

I was raised in Pennsylvania and graduated from Washington College in Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  After moving to Maui in 1983, I began my teaching career at Sacred Hearts School in Lahaina.  I have also taught at Lahaina Intermediate and Makawao Elementary Schools.  In 2005, I completed my Masters Degree in Education from Chaminade University.

I first became interested in technology after I took an email class from Phoenix University.

After that I was hooked…I have been taking technology classes and earning various technology certifications ever since.  I enjoy using technology and feel very confident using it as a tool to enhance learning.  Both of my daughters are Kamehameha School Maui graduates.  During my free time, I enjoy shopping, surfing the Net and spending time with my family- especially my new granddaughter.
